The Lower Secondary- Years 7, 8 and 9 (JSS1, 2 and 3)
Our Junior School curriculum has been planned to provide a strong foundation for success for all our students through to their senior studies.
During their three years in the Junior School, students may take the following subjects as contained in the National Curriculum:
- > English Studies
- > Mathematics
- > Basic Science and Technology
- > Prevocational Studies
- > National Values
- > Islamic Studies
- > Christian Religion Knowledge
- > Cultural and Creative Art
- > Arabic Language
- > Business Studies
- > Nigerian Language
The students at this level also offer the three Cambridge Checkpoint Subjects which are:
- > English
- > Mathematics and
- > Science
In year 9, students are enrolled for the Checkpoint, Junior
National Examination (BECE) and FCT ERC Examination for their awards of the Junior School Certificates.
The Senior School- Years 10, 11 and 12 (SSS1, 2 and 3)
Our Senior School Students follow a balanced programme of core studies. The students focus on one
of the three streams of study; Science, Business or Arts.
All students study English Language, General Mathematics, Civic Education and Trade/Entrepreneurship Subjects.
- > Science Stream students study all three sciences along with Further Mathematics.
- > Business Stream students study Accounts, Commerce and Economics.
- > Arts Stream students study Literature, and Government.
Some optional subjects are available which are:
Geography, Food and Nutrition, Technical Drawing, and Agricultural Science.
